The record

In 2009 Nir founded Elsight and served as its CEO and Managing Director for more than a decade. He led the company from inception to its public listing on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2017, and shaped its strategy in secure, mission critical connectivity.

He recognised early that reliable, redundant connectivity would become essential for drones and other unmanned systems. That conviction took Elsight into the drone sector and led to the development and early commercialisation of Halo, which became the foundation of the company's direction.

Before Elsight he founded and led Eyecontrol Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of digital recording systems, through its sale in 2009. His career began in systems engineering and telecommunications, including several years with major telecom operators in Germany.

Today he is a Dubai based investor and advisor with extensive experience in building and scaling technology companies. He works with founders, CEOs, investors and strategic partners on company building, capital strategy, international expansion, and the passage from a promising technology to a scalable global business.
